YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKER

CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT
The main purpose of the role involves working as part of a team in the
delivery of youth work programmes in a Youth Centre setting. To
provide opportunities and activities within an informal education and
equal opportunities framework, and ensuring that all youth work
delivery is conducted in a safe environment.
It is essential that applicants for the position have direct
experience of undertaking developmental youth work programmes and
delivering services to marginalised young people, Education to Degree
standard preferably in Youth Work (note: candidates with exceptional,
relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of degree
qualifications).
This post is subject to Garda Vetting.
The position is funded from the UBU Targeted Youth Funding scheme.
